Notice to Mariners No. 54 of 2026 (Temporary)

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – SPENCER GULF– PORT LINCOLN - LOUTH BAY RESEARCH EQUIPMENT DEPLOYED

Mariners are advised that research equipment will be deployed in Louth Bay from 04th August 2026 for approximately 12 months.

The equipment will be marked with lit yellow surface buoys.

Light Characteristics: Yellow Fl (0.5) 2.5s Range 1 nm.

1. 34° 34' 36” S             136° 02' 40” E
2. 34° 34' 34” S             136° 06' 20” E

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution when transiting the area.
