Outer Harbor and Grange lines to reopen from Monday 15 January 2018
Friday, 12 January 2018
Adelaide Metro advises customers that the Outer Harbor and Grange train lines will reopen from first service Monday, 15 January 2018.
Substitute bus services will cease from last service Sunday, 14 January.
In recognition of the impact of the works, free travel will be extended for passengers using the Outer Harbor and Grange lines until Sunday, 28 January.
The rail lines were temporarily closed in order to facilitate the $238 million Torrens Rail Junction Project separating the freight and passenger rail lines and removing level crossings located at Park Terrace, Gibson and East streets.
While train services are resuming, remaining works will continue on the project including finishing works at the new Bowden Station, Greenway/Shared user path, Station Place and Parklands Bridges, Park Terrace and Gibson Street road and paving works, landscaping, and commissioning of active pedestrian crossings.

Adelaide Metro would like to thank commuters for their patience during these works.
