Upgrade works will include:
- right turn lane extensions on Bridge Road for turns onto both Wright Road and South Terrace
- right turn traffic lights onto Wright Road and South Terrace
- line marking
- upgrading kerbing, traffic islands and signalling infrastructure
Works are scheduled to commence this evening, Friday 15 June, and be completed Thursday 12 July 2018, weather permitting.
Works will be undertaken between 7pm and 7am, with no works occurring Saturday mornings to Sunday evenings.
Roads will remain open to traffic with lane and speed restrictions in place during these works.
These combined $135,000 projects are funded by Australian Government and will improve safety for all road users at the intersections.
DPTI thanks road users for their patience while these important works are carried out.
