Notice to Mariners No 37 of 2019

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – GULF ST VINCENT – PORT ADELAIDE RIVER – DREDGING COMPLETE – NEW CHANNEL DECLARED – 14.2M DEEP CHANNEL AND TURNING BASIN WIDENED
Former Notice No. 15 of 2019
Mariners are advised that the dredging referred to in the previous Notice has now been completed. The existing 14.2 metre deep Channel has been widened by 40 metres to 170 metres and the existing Turning Basin adjacent to Outer Harbor Berths 6 and 7 has been expanded to a diameter of 550 metres.
A swath hydrographic survey carried out from 06 to 18 September 2019 indicated a minimum depth of 14.2 metres as referred to Lowest Astronomical Tide (LAT).
