Free public transport a big hit this summer

Cricket fans will enjoy free rides as they head to the city for Big Bash League (BBL) and international matches this season.
The state’s iconic Adelaide Oval will host seven Adelaide Strikers home games as well as the Second Test of this summer’s Ashes series.
The following BBL matches will be serviced by Adelaide Oval Express services:
- Adelaide Strikers v Melbourne Renegades
Thursday, 9 December at 6:45pm
Free travel from 3:30pm - Adelaide Strikers v Brisbane Heat
Thursday, 23 December at 6:45pm
Free travel from 3:30pm - Adelaide Strikers v Hobart Hurricanes
Wednesday, 5 January at 5:35pm
Adelaide Oval Express services will only operate post-match
Free travel from 2:30pm - Adelaide Strikers v Melbourne Stars
Friday, 7 January at 6:45pm
Free travel from 3:30pm - Adelaide Strikers v Perth Scorchers
Friday, 14 January at 7:45pm
Free travel from 4:30pm - Adelaide Strikers v Sydney Sixers
Tuesday, 18 January at 6:45pm
Free travel from 3:30pm
The following match will not be serviced by Adelaide Oval Express services but will have standby services on regular Adelaide Metro services post-match:

Free travel from 3:30pm
Free travel will also be available for each day of the historic Australia v England Ashes five-day Test match, which begins on Thursday, 16 December. Free travel is available upon presentation of a valid event ticket from 10am Thursday, Friday and Monday and all day on Saturday and Sunday.
The Adelaide Oval Express services will operate post-match on days 1-3 of the test, up to 45 minutes after the last over.
On days 4 and 5, patrons will be able to access normal public transport services for free with their match day ticket.
Passengers are reminded not to travel on public transport if they are feeling unwell.
Remember to please wear a face mask and maintain social distancing wherever possible. This could include waiting for the following service if you do not feel as though there is adequate space or if instructed to do so.
