Park 'n' Ride at Torrens Park
About the project
The State Government has committed $7 million to deliver a new Park 'n' Ride at Torrens Park railway station, improving access to public transport for commuters in the area.
This project will be delivered on vacant land that has been acquired by the Department to provide additional parking, improve station access, and enhance the overall experience for public transport users.
Key features
- a new sealed car park with approximately 38 spaces, including 2 accessible parks
- access provided from Belair Road, with pedestrian crossing improvements at the Blythewood Road intersection
- installation of lighting and CCTV
- a secure bike cage to support active travel
- new tree planting and landscaping
