During the winter months, Gorge Road can be subject to rocks falling onto the road.
The variable nature of weather conditions means Gorge Road is sometimes required to be closed at short notice.

The map shows the area typically closed during a rock fall event, between Corkscrew Road, Castambul and Torrens Hill Road, Paracombe. However, we undertake an assessment during each event, as such the closure zone may differ from the map below.
