Share your feedback on the proposed Adelaide Circuit design

The proposed redeveloped circuit will host the world’s first ever city street race MotoGP Grand Prix and the bp Adelaide Grand Final Supercars event from November 2027. It will also host the Tour Down Under from 2028.
Using elements of the historic Adelaide Grand Prix circuit, the project has focused on:
- delivering a world-class racing circuit
- minimise significant tree loss
- creating more opportunities for people to be active, connect and enjoy the Adelaide Park Lands.
As we prepare the circuit for a new era, we are creating a world-class track for MotoGP and Supercars. It combines speed, safety and spectacular racing to deliver an outstanding experience for riders, drivers and spectators.
The Adelaide Circuit Redevelopment Project will also deliver significant enhancements to other key arts and community events in the Adelaide Park Lands, including new services infrastructure for events.
Beyond minimising environmental impacts, the South Australian Government has committed to a major program of environmental enhancements in the Adelaide Park Lands.
The South Australian Government will fund the replacement of every removed tree on a 10:1 basis – meaning a net increase of at least 3,393 trees in the Adelaide Park Lands. All replacement trees will be mature stock, ranging from 45 litres to 200 litres. Over 123,000 understorey plantings will also be planted across the Adelaide Park Lands.
In addition, the South Australian Government has worked collaboratively with the Conservation Council of SA on a package of Adelaide Park Lands greening, rewilding and revitalisation projects to restore habitat and strengthen biodiversity.
Construction of the circuit is planned to start in December 2026.
Public consultation is now open. We’re seeking your feedback on the proposed circuit design, community space enhancements, and proposed tree and vegetation planting focus areas within the Adelaide Park Lands.
Your feedback will help shape the detailed design.
