Government Employee Housing program maintenance request form

This form is only for tenants of the Government Employee Housing program to request maintenance to their property.

To request maintenance for a SA Housing Trust property, call 131 288.

Include as much information as possible. For example, which room in the house, if an appliance is gas or electric, ducted or split system, or where in the yard.

You may be charged in certain circumstances. If this happens, you will be sent an invoice.



To help explain maintenance issues that are hard to describe, include at least one photo. You can upload up to 3 photos. If you have trouble submitting this form, please submit the form without photos, then email the photos to DIT.GEHHelpDesk@sa.gov.au.






If you cannot be present, do you give permission for the contractor or maintenance agent to enter your premises and attend to the maintenance?



If you want to be present for the maintenance, a contractor will contact you to arrange a suitable time to carry out the maintenance work.

If you give permission to attend, please tell us how to access the keys.




It is the tenant’s responsibility to ensure that pets are effectively restrained while a landlord or agent, including a contractor, is entering or is at the premises.
