WORKZONE TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT TRAINING
This training program is required or anyone who controls traffic at a worksite. Click here for details.
ENVIRONMENTAL TRAINING FOR ROAD MAINTENANCE WORKERS
This is a one day training course to raise awareness of The Department ’s environmental management systems for maintenance.
The course is based on the DIT Environmental Management Workbook for Roadside Maintenance Activities.

ENVIRONMENTAL TRAINING FOR CIVIL CONSTRUCTION
A one day training course for The Department civil construction contractors.
The aim of the course is to provide construction workers with the knowledge to identify environmental issues associated with their activities and best practice methods to minimise environmental impact. It will also outline environmental legal obligations relevant to construction activities. The course is based on the DIT workbook Environmental Awareness for Civil Construction Projects.
Requirements in Road and Bridge Contracts are for at least 2 people on site (including site rep / site supervisor and QMR) to have undertaken the training.
