Complaints about passenger transport services

If you have a complaint about a passenger transport service, first contact the Centralised Booking Service to make your complaint. This includes taxis, chauffeur or rideshare services.

If you are not happy with their response or if the issue is serious (such as a safety concern), contact Adelaide Metro.

When you lodge a compliment or complaint, you will need to provide:

  • the time and date of your journey
  • the name of the taxi company
  • the taxi's number plate or the driver's number.

To report a theft or personal safety incident, such as assault, contact South Australia Police.

Lost property

If you lost something during your trip, contact the Centralised Booking Service or service provider first. By law, they must keep lost items for two days.

If you still can’t find your item, contact your local police station. They can check South Australia Police’s Property Management System or help you file a lost property report.
