Proposed design: Outside of events

A key focus of the design process has been to enhance these experiences by creating more opportunities for people to be active, connect with others and enjoy the Adelaide Park Lands.

The proposed design includes:

• improved access for everyone
• better walking, running and cycling connections
• enhanced sport and recreation spaces, and upgraded amenities
• extensive tree and vegetation planting.

We know the importance of getting these community enhancements right. That's why we are inviting everyone to help shape the detailed design and future opportunities for these areas.

We will work closely with the City of Adelaide, Park Lands user groups, sporting clubs, event operators and a dedicated Kaurna Working Group to ensure a wide range of perspectives help shape the project.

Beyond the circuit design, any future use and detailed design of these community spaces is subject to the City of Adelaide’s approval.
